Job Title: Senior Business Analyst - Property and Casualty (P&C) Insurance

Location: Columbus, Ohio

Candidate with Experience doing business analysis for Property and Casualty (P&C) Insurance companies a must.

 

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for working with business partners and stakeholders to define business requirements and document business rules. 

• Experience doing business analysis for P&C insurance companies a must

• Understanding of Commercial Insurance Business is a must

• Analyze/document current and future business process models.

• Analyze/document high-level requirements (scope).

• Analyze/document detailed functional requirements and business rules (use cases).

• Analyze/document data requirements (from business needs perspective).

• Develops Functional Specifications.

• Works with technical team members to refine and finalize functional designs and business rules.

• Works with Software Quality Assurance (SQA) team members to define test cases and scenarios.

• Works with operations teams to define and develop business operation procedures..

• Produces detailed business process flows, functional requirements specifications and communicates these requirements to the design and build teams.

 

Desired Skills

• Up to 8+ years of experience working as a Functional, Data or Business Analyst

• 4+ years of customer interfacing experience 

• 2-4 years of experience as business analyst in Insurance Domain (P&C, Commercial)

• Liaise with business and IT to ensure accurate business requirements captured

• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal

• Provide more in-depth analysis with a high-level view of goals and end deliverables.

• Work collaboratively with other support team members and independently on assigned tasks and deliverables with minimum supervision

• Self-motivated, working closely and actively communicating with team members to accomplish time critical tasks and deliverables

• Elicit and gather user requirements and/or problem description information, and record this information accurately
