We currently have an opportunity for a Business Objects Developer with a major direct client in Dayton,Ohio location.
Position: Business Objects Developer
Location: Dayton, Ohio
Duration: 3 months
Job Description:
Responsible for development of design specifications, software coding, debugging, unit testing and system level integration of applications of a moderate level of complexity. Key Decisions Made: * Design, code, test software application
* Assure that all work performed adheres to process, timelines and quality standards
* Work with limited direction on assignments
* Stay current with software and industry trends
Knowledge/Experience:
* Bachelors Degree required
* 2-3 years prior development experience
* Proficient in Microsoft technology
* Working knowledge of IT processes
* Requires analytical skills and proficiency in developing structured logic
Thorough knowledge in current computer technologies: Classic ASP, Visual Basic, ASP.NET, C#, XML, Java, Microsoft SQL Server
Skills/Abilities:
* Judgment /Decision Making * Effective Communication skills * Self Directed * Organizing/Planning * Collaboration * Problem Solving * Team Building * Ability to act as a mentor to associate developers
Note:
Ideal candidate has BO, Universes, Teradata and SQL.
Manager will consider Business Objects with Universes experience and SQL Server or Oracle.
Project end date scheduled for 6/30
