This is a 6 Months. to long term Contract extendible Position based in Washington DC
Position: SOFTWARE DEVELOPER II .Net
Locations: Washington DC
Duration: 6 Months. to long term Contract
OVERALL PURPOSE OF POSITION:
The purpose of this position is to provide support for critical business functions through the development, implementation, testing and maintenance of applications systems.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
The position's essential duties include the following:
· Design, code, test, debug, maintain, and document software applications;
· Follow established software development standards and procedures;
· Support business functions through the development, implementation, and maintenance of applications systems;
· Participate in peer code reviews;
· Collaborate with departments and users in the support of business applications;
· Contribute software development expertise to ensure that specifications are met;
TECHNICAL EXPERIENCE

· ASP.NET, C#, XML, .NET Framework 3+Years
· XHTML, JavaScript, CSS , JQuery 3+ Years
· Application Development/Software Engineering/Design Patterns 3+ Years
· T-SQL/SQL Server, RDBMS concepts 3+ Years
· Web application development 3+ Years
· MVC , Entity Framework 1+ Years
· Object oriented design and architecture 1+ Years
· Internet application development 3+ Years
· Object oriented design and architecture 1+ Years
· Classic ASP, WebServices, TDD 3+ Years
· Technical Documentation 3+ Years
NOTE: In addition, please list any desired experience.
· Experience with agile software development such as SCRUM and XP, strongly desired.
· PL/SQL, J2EE, SOAP, Visual Basic, TFS 2010
· Experience with SharePoint2007/2010, configuration, out-of-the-box- functionality, administration.
· Knowledge of application security concepts
· Experience with integration of application software
· Experience with implementation of COTS products
· Experience with VS 2010
· Knowledge of configuration management, release management principles
