Role: UI Web Developer

Location: Alaska

Duration: 6 Months

Rate: $/hr on C2C All Incl.

Description:

Our client is currently looking for a UI Developer. This candidate will need to work within a team to produce usable front end markup and light scripting to realize wireframe designs within an established style. Employee will need to work well in a team experience in such an environment is helpful. Employee would need to feel comfortable discussing their design decisions in a professional environment. Ability to take feedback would be a must.

They will be building the UI (user interface) in .net, CSS, HTML, java, JQuery, Ajax. They will be building a portal.

Job Requirements:

·         Candidate should have a college degree or equivalent in years of experience.

·         Strong problem solving skills.

·         Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

·         Exhibit productive and positive teamwork skills and habits.

·         Ability to work professionally with others or independently in the department.

·         Be familiar with the Agile (SCRUM) process is a plus.

·         Having worked in an enterprise environment is a plus.

Job Responsibilities:

·         Designing and coding .NET (C#) and or Java J2EE applications and web services for the enterprise.

·         Participating in daily meetings as well as other necessary meetings.

·         Responsible for development and unit testing as well as ensuring all processes are being followed throughout the SDLC.

·         Must maintain the modern know-how of web development either through self-research or Alfa provided training.

Tools:

C#, J2EE, JQuery, LESS (CSS), HTML/HTML5, Responsive Design, AJAX, OWASP Security Awareness, Web Services experience (SOAP, WSDL, Restful), XML, XSLT, RDMS, (DB2, SQL Server), SQL, OO Design Patterns, SDLC.
