Job Description:
Software/Systems Engineer/Developer with experience in developing ASP.NET websites and applications. Very good experience in designing, developing and maintaining object-oriented, multi-tiered ASP.NET application is required. A key responsibility will be to support the development and operations of .NET (VB.NET)-based applications and components as part of a large enterprise website system with domestic and international users.
The following are the required and desired skills
· Required: 7+ years of object oriented software development experience using .NET technologies.
· Desirable: Experience in developing interactive custom dashboard solutions for websites.
· Desirable: Experience in integrating third party ASP.NET GUI widget controls from third party vendors such as - Telerik, Obout, Infragistics, DevXpress etc.
· Desirable: Working knowledge of classic ASP.
· Desirable: Database modeling and development in Oracle platform and PL/SQL development.
· Desirable: Development of web services and the use of XML technologies.
· Candidate should have excellent communication and writing skills.
· A bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field is REQUIRED, a master's degree is preferred.
