I have two Senior Java Developers needed asap. I know this manager and have placed people in his group. He is looking for someone with very strong Java development background, not worried about all the other tools really. So just focus on someone with strong in Java/J2EE, Spring, REST, and Agile. All of the other tools are subject to change throughout the project. The other key to this position; the manager wants to see individuals who have developed applications from scratch, he is not looking for people who have worked on maintenance projects or migrations from legacy application.
Position Overview:
Contractor will be part of a team that is building a web content system
Responsibilities/Deliverables that the resource will be responsible for:
• Continue to get platform up and running
• Heads down development
• Help with weekly deployments
• Creation and management of platform functionality
• Helping deliver functionality to our core platform
• Supporting and helping with implementations of the product (CORAL)
• Use an open source solution (Web Content System) – Apache Jack Rabbit
What would a normal day for this position look like??
