Location: Owings Mills MD
Duration; 6 months
Rate: $55-60/hr MAX
IBM WebSphere Operational Decision Manager Consultant (IBM ODM):
The Systems Consultant is an expert in a functional alignment of technology within a business line, functional operation or technology. The incumbent understands and communicates how technology impacts the business. The Systems Consultant identifies, develops, and implements technologies and practices that have value for the business. The Systems Consultant works within project teams to develop solutions that drive the success of the business. The Systems Consultant acts as a subject matter expert in one or more areas of technology. Knowledge and expertise may be in one technology or environment. The Systems Consultant acts independently or as a member of a project team responsible for providing technical and business process guidance concerning the business implications of one or more applications. The position provides technical consulting in area of expertise and mentors Sr. Programmers and Programmers within the business channel or technology supported.
This position will be part of the OMR SPOE Agile Team working to leverage the product within the SPOE project. SPOE is a very rules oriented application where we desire to leverage IBM's product as best we can. - BS in computer science required - Minimum of 2-3 years experience in implementing Business rules based solutions
All below are required, no exceptions:
IBM WebSphere Operational Decision Manager Experience
– 2-3 years Java development experience with JAX-RS and JAX-WS
– 2-3 years Java development using IBM's WebSphere Application Server
- Ideally have used IBM's latest version of ODM version 8.x.
- Experience in implementing Complex Event Processing (CEP) solutions using IBM's ODM would be a plus.
