Java Developer (strong Javascript & Spring )

Location: Columbus, OH

Duration : 6+ Months (again expect it to be about 18 months).

Qualifications:
• Experience with design patterns and web applications
• Strong understanding of the following items:
o Spring 3.X MVC
o Tiles 2.0
o Servlets/JSPs
o JSTL EL Syntax
o Error Handling
o Validators
o Filters
• Strong understanding of the following client side technologies/frameworks:
o jQuery 1.7
o XHTML
o CSS 1 & 2
• Basic Unix skills (SSH/tunneling, navigating Unix environment, SCP/SFTP to transfer files)
• Ability to research and solve problems on his/her own using Google, newsgroups, vendor support and other external resources
• Ability to analyze business requirements and identify possible gaps, missing scenarios, etc.
• Engineer (design and code) solution in the most clear, concise and optimal way possible based on time and other constraints
• Additional skills in these areas will be considered a plus:
o PL/SQL
o Maven / ANT
o JBoss / Tomcat
o CSS 2
o CVS
o RESTful Web Services
o Eclipse 3.5
