Job Description:
The Technical Lead will collaborate with the Technology Managers, Project Managers, Sales Managers and Business Analysts to understand the functional business requirements dictated by the client and offer an appropriate solution that satisfies the client's needs.

• The Technical Lead may collaborate with Technology Managers and Technology Architects on a technical approach to a solution that satisfies the client's needs.
• The Technical Lead will report directly to the Technology Manager and will liaise regularly with their counterparts on other teams and in other CoEs.

 

Responsibilities:

• The Technology Development Center of Excellence (CoE) provides technical solutions to all customers clients and internal customers. Activities performed by this group include:
• Delivery of all Technology & Development project work
• Product evaluation and testing
• Provision of technical expertise to customers in an effort to ensure success of digital deliverables
• Technical architecture of all internal and external systems associated with solutions provided to all customers
• Design, development and maintenance of all technical solutions provided to our customers, including database,web and mobile
• The Technical Lead is intimately involved in day-to-day operations of their team and responsible for successful delivery of all tasks delegated to them.
• The Technical Lead is responsible for leading a technology solution team and assisting the team members with questions/concerns related to the implementation and execution of the technical requirements.
• The Technical Leads will also be hands-on programmers and will have domain knowledge relevant to an implementation.
• The Technical Lead will be a channel for team members to escalate issues to either the technical architects or to the project manager.

Essential Responsibilities and Deliverables

◦         Designs, modifies, develops, writes and implements software programming applications.

◦         Supports and/or installs software applications.

◦         Provide level of effort estimates on proposed projects

◦         Facilitate with technical (hands-on) development

◦         Provide knowledge and direction in technical approach to team members

◦         Involved in architecture and design of technical solutions

 

Requirements:

• Very strong technical skills across platforms, including Unix, Windows and Oracle or SQL Server
• Strong object-oriented programming skills with experience in several languages such as C#, Objective C, VB.NET, Java, ASP.NET, JSP, VB, C++, Java and .NET Framework
• Strong client-side programming skills with experience in modern CSS, JavaScript, jQuery and client-side data binding frameworks (e.g. Knockout, AngularJS, Ember)
• Strong skills with experience in modern presentational design patterns and frameworks (e.g. MVC, MVVM)
• Strong SQL skills Experience with performance optimization
