Title: Technical Developer – Application Integration
Location: Cincinnati OH
General Function:
This individual works on projects that are highly visible and have broad enterprise implications for the business and the IT architecture. Coordinates with users to determine requirements and design systems to fit their needs. Ensures system improvements are successfully implemented and monitored to increase efficiency. Establishes and communicates common goals for team members.
Primarily, the profile should have a combination of MQ Series and (.Net) background. Candidate should have worked on integration of front end App with MQ. Use of APIs and SOAP should be well known.
Duties & Responsibilities
· Participate in architecture, design, implementation, and QA phases of the project lifecycle.
· Design, code, test and implement applications in a timely and efficient manner in accordance with corporate procedures and standards.
· Plays a key role as an individual contributor on projects. Work as part of a project team to determine project requirements, goals and implementation.
· Works with other development teams across the bank to build service based banking applications.
· Act as a technical subject matter expert for the internal team on areas such as system functionality and approach including solving systems operations issues, performance initiatives
· Create Technical Specifications that can be passed to onshore and/or offshore consultants for development. Supervise such projects throughout the project life cycle and perform code reviews.
· Manages time and priorities to ensure that commitments are met and that the lines of communication are flowing to the project managers.
· Assume additional responsibilities as assigned.
Job Requirements
· Minimum 7-8 years of experience as Technical Developer
· Good oral and written communication skills
· Experience translating user requirements to technical designs
· Good understanding of various integration technologies MQ, JMS, WebServices, XML, SOAP, EJB's, SQL, Webmethods
· Success incorporating heterogeneous applications and data sources into business focused solutions
· Superior analytic and problem-solving skills
· Input and/or lead technical and architectural design, provide key inputs to the solutions.
