We are looking for SOAPUI REST services testing Consultant to support world's leader in providing IT consulting and software services to the finest global organizations client.
This is 6 Months contract based in Foster City, CA
Role: SOAPUI REST services testing Consultant
Location: Foster City, CA
Duration: 3 - 6 Months contract can be extended depending upon project need
Job Description for the SOAPUI REST services testing :
· Overall testing experience of 5 to 8 years
· At least 3 years hands on experience in SOAPUI tool for doing testing REST based web services
· Experience in scripting for automation - writing groovy scripts in SOAPUI or core java for automating testing tasks
· Experience in validation content from XML, data bases and flat files using scripts
· Exposure to requirement analysis, test scenario design, test case creation, test scripting and status reporting to stakeholders for testing web services
· Exposure to security aspects in web services
· Exposure to testing in an Agile environment
· manufacturing of different error situations related to HTTP 100, 200, 300 and 400 series
Desirable:
· Exposure to UNIX commands and shell scripting
· Exposure to HP ALM
· Ability to handle small teams and mentor them technically
