Job description:

 

 

This resource will be the lead for all Duck Creek development projects in the personal lines/commercial lines area for our client.

This resource MUST have 3+ years' experience of developing on the Duck Creek platform.

 

He should preferably have 7+ years of overall experience, 5+ years of P&C experience.

 

His responsibilities will include (but not limited to):

(a) Source code control and promotion: He will work with the Maintenance organization to coordinate the movement of source code from our Dev environment into System Test, Staging and Production. This is a critical function as development will be ongoing in both the Development and Maintenance organizations.
(b) Writing Code: There are several tasks which will require an in-house resource to write code. For example, coding for MVR, CLUE and other interfaces.
(c) Coordinating testing through other areas in IT: As the teams plans it's testing for the Upload piece of the project, it is critical to have a team member who understands how downstream systems will be impacted. The technical lead will help plan and coordinate testing in other areas of IT.
(d) Code reviews: He will review source code written to ensure they are meeting client standards of development.
(e) Review Estimates: He will review estimates and provide input on approach and reasonable ness of effort.
