We have an urgent requirement as follows:

 

Role: Mainframe CA7 Support

Job Location: Pittsburgh PA

Duration: Longterm

Exp: 9+ Years

 

Responsibilities:

 

Has good experience in software Application support and Maintenance projects executed in onsite-offshore model on Mainframes and CA7 Technologies.

• Good Business knowledge in Investment Banking (US Clearance and Settlement) and Core banking.

• Has working Knowledge on CA7 Workload automation tool.

• Monitor and track trouble tickets. Fix the issues and making sure the business is not impacted.

• Understanding business and System Requirements through Interaction with Business or other project groups.

• Conducting periodic Quality Assurance Activities.

• Research the reporting system for possible improvements in the current process and raise process improvement ideas.

• Documenting the functional aspects.

• Responsible for the overall quality and timeliness of the deliverables.

• Coordinating with Expert groups for special support.

• Analysing the requirements and planning the approach.

• Technical Requirements preparation            

• Coordinating Constructing Phase

• Coordinating with the project groups for System test Activity

• Constructing and reviewing Unit Test Plan using TCS Review Checklists

• Reviewing the Code and Unit Test Result at the completion of the requirements.

• Coordinating with client for the implementation for the Change/Enhancement requests

• The following Mainframe skills are required - IBM Mainframe TSO, ISPF, JCL, COBOL, DB2, File-Aid and VSAM.

• In addition to this, the resource should have  experience on UNIX and Oracle SQL Queries.

• Experience on batch scheduling tools such as Autosys or TWS

• Experience in batch cycle monitoring preferred

• Strong analytical & Problem Solving skills
