Job Description:

·         Good Hadoop Engineer for project maintenance work

·         Good understanding about Hadoop eco system: HDFS, HBASE, SPark, Scala, Hive, YARN

·         Good understanding about Linux admin skills and networking knowledge

·         Cloudera certified Administrator CCA-500

·         Strong Communications Skills

·         Customer use  Cloudera Distribution CDH 5.x and have a 4 node Pilot cluster for our R&D and POC's

o   An 35 Node Production Cluster is available on at HCA Data Center for which we have contributed 11 nodes.

o   Our Hadoop use cases are split into 2 broad categories

o   1. Data ingestion of Unstructured Data (Textual Data Mining, NLP and Image processing)

o   2. Computational . IN-MEMORY processing of Data  for Scoring, prediction, outlier detection etc

o   We have actively tested and developed in

o   1. Spark Streaming

o   2. Java

o   3. Scala/Spark

o   4. Matlab (We have   incorporated Matlab Run Time library's into Hadoop cluster and access it using Scala/Spark

o   5. Hive/Impala

o   6. HBase

o   7. SOLR
