Position: VMWare Architect

Location: Madison, WI Need locals , F2F is must after Telephonic round.

Duration: 36+ Months Contract.

Rate : $DOE

Visa : GC / Citizens only

 

Job Description :

 

This client is looking for a VMWare specialist to join their existing cloud services team.  This role will focu on the automating the deployment processes and administration delegation based on the VMWare product suite.  In addition to the VMWare products (vCenter, PowerCLI, vCAC, vRA, etc) the ideal candidate will also have some depth with JavaScript/PowerShell/Python. 

TARGET PROFILES

10 year VMWare resource with history of Architect roles as of late (vCenter, PowerCLI, vCAC, vRA, etc) plus some depth with languages (JavaScript, PowerShell, Python)

SKILLS - CORE:

  VMware Virtualization

  VMware - Architect Roles

SKILLS - MAJORITY REQUIRED:

  Javascript

  Perl

  PowerShell

  Python

  VMware Virtual Infrastructure (ESX server and vCenter)

  VMware -- vCenter

  VMware -- vRA (vRealize Automation)

  VMware -- vCAC (vCloud Automation Center)

  VMware -- PowerCLI

  VMware -- vCenter Orchestrator

  VMware -- vRealize Orchestrator

  VMware -- vRealize Application Services



SKILLS - ALSO CONSIDERED:

  System Documentation - Creation

  Problem determination (e.g. using dumps, traces, traps)

  New Technology: VMWare, Virtualization, Virtual Switches, Voice Over IP, Video Conferencing

  Winbatch, VB and Powershell scripting
