Role: Oracle Apps DBA
Duration: 6+ months contract
Location: Overland park, Kensas
Responsibilities:
Mandatory Skills: Oracle Apps DBA à Cloning, Backup & Recovery, Code Migration, Performance issue fixing
DBA Scope includes the activities related both Database administration and Applications administration. DBA and Infrastructure scope are separate.
2. Implementation of R12.2.X in 4 Non Prod and 1 Prod instance for 7 NA Sites as a part of CIA Pilot.
3. Finalize Physical and Logical Architecture for PROD and NON PROD instances.
4. Design/Finalize High Availability and Disaster Recovery Architecture for PROD instances.
5. Database and Application Memory and CPU requirement planning and finalization.
6. Database and Application performance parameter planning/finalization.
7. Backup Policy (S/W Stack and Databases), restore requirement planning and finalization.
8. Detailed instance deployment planning document for each scoped application.
9. Routine database, application health check, performance monitoring/notification setup and fixing the performance issues.
10. Providing an end to end Backup and Recovery solution with tested Implementation procedures involving Oracle RMAN and OS tools using available Disk/Tape backup solutions to conform to Business Requirements of the SLA's and the RPO/RTO's. This includes Application Tech Stacks and Databases.
11. Routine database, application health check, performance monitoring/notification setup and fixing the performance issues.
12. Code migration support.
