Role : Lead Storage (Design) Engineer

Location : San Jose, CA

Duration : 6+ Months

 

GIS Storage administration:

• Automating storage provisioning and storage administrative tasks using Perl or shell scripting.

• Create test plans for new storage solution.

• Document troubleshooting procedures, operations manuals, and user guidance.

 

GIS Storage Implementation Support

• Research, design, implement and troubleshooting of Enterprise Storage solutions (Netapp / EMC) and Software Defined Storage solutions (CEPH or similar solutions)

• Document test plan and evaluate new storage solutions based on technical and business requirements.

• Support facilitate the automation of the system administrative tasks

• Support automating storage provisioning to support the scale and number of installs across Cisco.
