Excellent communication skills is a must
Must have EWM implementation experience
Must be able to facilitate training classes
Must be able to facilitate testing sessions
The person should be able to gather requirements and convert them to clear specs for the developers and/or perform configuration
Retail experience is a nice to have but, not a must have

Software Quality Analyst Job Description
The Software Quality Analyst is responsible for designing, developing and executing a wide range of tests and to ensure that all web applications and services meet organizational standards and end-user requirements.

Responsibilities:
Collaborate with developers, other test team members and business Subject Matter Experts to design test scenarios and test cases based on requirements and technical designs.
Creating and executing test cases in HP Quality Center.
Reporting detailed test results.
Entering/managing defects in HP Quality Center.
Must be able to work on multiple projects concurrently.
Coordinates and executes testing across multiple testing phases, including System Integration testing, Regression testing and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
Defining complex data sets in order to drive and track test cases resulting in measurable and repeatable test results.
Strong understanding of QA concepts and methodologies.
Attend and sometimes lead testing related meetings.
Basic understanding of databases and data warehousing.
Effective at communicating testing activities and findings in oral and written forms.
Ability to interact professionally with a diverse group of developers, managers and subject matter experts.
Ability to control and manage own daily test activities.
Experience leading testing initiatives on projects; with responsibility of identifying risks and developing mitigation strategies.
Proficient writing SQL queries.
Familiarity with QTP or Load Runner is a plus.

Job Requirements:
Must have a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or other related area of study and 2 to 4 years experience creating and executing test cases and reporting results, designing tests using multiple testing techniques (risk-based, domain, function, database, requirements-based) and basic programming experience. Must have experience testing web applications. .

.Quality Analyst*
• Develops and maintains a detailed project schedule, which includes administrative tasks and all sites involved in the project.
• Maintain calendars and meeting schedules for the entire team.
• Coordinate meetings and prepare meeting minutes and presentation materials. Convert minutes to actions and track assignments. Ensure adherence to deadlines.
• File all project documents (hard and soft copies) in repository. Compile summary documents, e.g. Product Development Plan, management Summary and Target Product Profile. Collect and include contributions of the Team.
• The detailed schedule will include all project phases and dependencies including at least preliminary engineering, property review and acquisition, detailed design, material procurement, installation, test and turn-up, and site and system acceptance.
• Responsible to take input from the business analysts and project team to develop and maintain detailed schedule.
• Responsible for evaluating requirements for testing new or modified products and documentation prior to production releases.
• Designing, developing, creating, and executing test plans and cases based on software requirements and technical understanding of product architecture
• Executing various system, performance, integration, and ad-hoc tests according to approved test plans and testing schedule
• Troubleshoot in conjunction with end users and development teams, on issues of reproducing, investigating and debugging software
• Generating defect reports for issues found during testing, and providing accurate testing status to project stakeholders
• Focusing on project quality issues, but also makes contributions beyond immediate assignments
• Possessing broad overall knowledge of business applications; working independently; managing multiple testing projects concurrently.
• Works independently, accurately and timely
Provides excellent customer service to their customer

Expert using Microsoft Office tools: Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Visio.
Expert using Microsoft Project and collaboration tools like Lotus Notes, Team rooms, Wiki etc.
WinRunner or other automated testing tool expertise required
Expertise using Hudson continuous integration tool.
Expertise using HTTP Unit for test automation
Expertise building scripts on Sellenium.
3-5 years of SQA testing, including data-centric web applications.
Strong understanding of QA processes and methodologies
Experience with full Software Development Lifecycle (concept to deployment)
Expertise in Mercury test suite.
