We have multiple urgent requirements of senior .Net Developers with our direct client in WA.

 

POSITION : 1

Location: Olympia, WA

Position: IPOSCS1

Duration: 1 year

Start: 8/28/2013

Position: .NET Application Developer

For technical design, development, testing, and transition of system knowledge to OSPI staff for the expansion of the K-12 Statewide Longitudinal Data System (SLDS). 

The scope of work is to:

·         Provide senior-level application design, development, testing, and transition of application knowledge.

·         Provide technical design and application code to facilitate application use and system and data integration.

·         Support the project's Business Analyst in the development of formal test cases/scripts for test execution.

·         Support OSPI staff in development of user documentation, training material, and implementation plans.

·         Provide weekly status reports as required by the project's Project Manager.

·         Attend and participate in staff meetings when requested.

A.     Mandatory Experience and Qualifications for proposed candidates:

·         Senior to expert level with at least 5 years of IT experience designing, developing, and documenting hardware, software and network solutions for application systems.

·         Agile development processes.

·         SQL server stored procedure programming in 2008 R2 version or greater.

·         Strong understanding of data warehouse cube design and experience with implementation with SSAS.

·         Deep knowledge of and experience writing data warehouse-based reports with SSRS.

·         Ability to create complex ETL packages in SSIS.

·         Programming Experience with ASP.Net 3.5 to 4.0, XML, Jquery, Visual Studio and C#.

·         Relational Database Design / Visio Data Modeler.

B.     Highly Desired Experience and Qualifications for proposed candidates:

·         Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment, facilitate communication amongst its members, and to bring a group to a consensus.

·         Proven ability to work with processes for the review, negotiation, and acceptance of formal project deliverables.

·         Demonstrated knowledge or previous experience designing, developing, and maintaining data warehouse applications.

·         Demonstrated knowledge or previous experience in interface development or interface rewrites.

·         Demonstrated knowledge or previous experience with K-12 student, assessment, and staff data

·         Demonstrated knowledge or previous experience working with student growth algorithms and visualization.
