Job Description :
· This consultant position will work on the Personal Lines Backend Systems Replacement Project.
· This project will begin the migration of major Backend Reporting systems from legacy operational systems to other data sources – primarily Data Warehouse (EDW).
· The primary focus will be on replacement of ISO bureau reporting.
· This position will be responsible for Data Warehouse related development.
· This position will code, test, debug, document and implement new systems and changes to existing systems.
· The project team will be using an Agile systems development methodology.
The following skillsets are required:
1. SQL 2012 tool set
· Visual Studio 2010
· SSRS - Reporting Services skills
· SSIS - Integration Services Skills
2. Solid understanding of information systems, data warehousing, data marts, ETL, data profiling, data integration and data cleansing
3. Property and Casualty Insurance knowledge to be able to translate business requirements into technical specifications
4. Effective communication skills, both oral and written
5. Effective inter-personal skills
6. Effective organization skills, with the ability to work independently
7. Ability to work within a team-oriented, fast-paced environment
The following skillsets are preferred:
· Experience using an Agile systems development methodology
· Experience deploying to and working with Sharepoint 2010
· Experience working with Microsoft Team Foundation Server(TFS)
The following skills are "nice to have."
· Experience building cubes using SSAS
· Experience working with the Microsoft Visio
