Position     = .NET Developer
Location    = Houston , TX ( Local Only)
Duration   = 6+ months

 

GC or USC

 

Face to Face interview

 

Must have ASP.NET, VB.NET experience
Desktop development using VB.net (web development would be secondary)
Good architecture design/principles (this is for both positions)
SQL Express a plus

 

- Bachelor's degree. 7+ yrs experience in Information Technology.
- Expected to participate in all aspects of the programming life cycle on IT projects, including requirements analysis, technical design analysis, programming in Visual Studio.NET and Oracle, unit testing, supporting user acceptance testing, implementation, and production support.
- Authors technical and non-technical project artifacts and task assignment specifications.
- Ensures compliance to SDLC processes and procedures.
- Ensures adherence to coding best practices. Produces quality deliverables that meet business requirements/technical specifications.
- Evaluates risk and courses of action on an ongoing basis and selects the best alternative to attain project goals.

 

Technical Skills:
• Microsoft Visual Studio .NET (frameworks 1.1, 2.0, 3.5, 4.0)
• ASP.NET
• VB.NET
• Oracle (PL/SQL)
• SQL Server Express
• perform data analysis
• effectively employ general coding standards/best practices
