Windows Systems Administrator

Location: Pittsburgh, PA

Duration: 6 months+

Hours/Shift: - (First 3 weeks 9am-5pm= Training)

                      -Night Shift (12am-8am)

 

 

Required Skills: Operational support, deploying of Java Applications on Windows Platforms

 

Job Description:

Operational support engineer/technician with a strong focus on troubleshooting and deploying Java applications on

Windows platforms, and imaging, deploying and troubleshooting Windows Server and Client/Retail platforms.

 

Requirements

·        Windows Server 2012 or 2012 R2 deployment, configuration and support

·        Strong Java application deployment and troubleshooting on Windows platforms

·        Oracle application deployment and support

·        Windows platform imaging and deployment

 

Ideal

·        Windows platform scripting: CLI, VBS, Powershell

·        Retail platforms: Windows embedded OS, Oracle POS

·        Automation through tools such as SCCM, BigFix/TEM, etc.

·        Virtualization experience: VMware, HyperV, etc.

·        Retail hardware: registers, printers, scanners, card readers, etc.

·        Documentation and Visio
