6 Month contract
- A Bachelor's degree in information systems, computer science or a related field.
- 5 years of experience in business software application design, development, and/or installation.
- TIBCO certified with a minimum of 5 years of experience with:
o TIBCO ActiveMatrix BusinessWorks (with majority of experience with BW 5) involving WSDL, SOAP, XML, SOAP UI, Middleware, JMS, Synchronous & Asynchronous deployed on various environments
o Some knowledge of installation, configuration, development and deployment of TIBCO Business Works, TIBCO EMS, TIBCO Administrator, TIBCO Rendezvous, TIBCO HAWK
o TIBCO BW6, TIBCO IM Sheet and TIBCO API Exchange while not required is a benefit
- Minimum 2+ years of Java experience
- Build and release management and Agile methodology
Plusses:
- Consultative and business analysis aptitude including communication and interpersonal skills that enables understanding of client's needs, define requirements and provide effective solutions.
- Knowledge of current and emerging technologies, tools, applications, and vendors.
- Strong understanding of structured analysis and technical design concepts.
- Experience in common industry architectural and software design patterns.
- Experience integrating large disconnected enterprise-class systems in a robust, fault-tolerant manner consistent with industry standards.
- Experience working closely with technical and subject matter experts to gain an understanding of requirements/design and provide input from an application perspective.
- Experience using analytical thinking and information gathering skills to analyze requirements to determine technical design, application coding changes and implementation strategies.
- Must be a team player and able to communicate well to highly technical individuals and IT management.
Scope of Work:
Construction
1. Create one or more "cookie cutter" templates based on the design pattern identified as part of this statement of work. The resulting template(s) will be used by PacifiCorp's IT Customer Service Applications team to develop the new Web Services.
2. Augment the IT Customer Services applications team to deliver required web services.
Quality Assurance
1. Identify and create the necessary automated test artifacts.
Required Qualifications
| · Bachelor or Masters in Computer Engineering or equivalent discipline · 2+ plus years Performance testing Engineering a must. · Experience using and coding in Micro Focus / Silk Performer. · Experience with Java Performance Monitoring concepts · Knowledge in development · Quality Center knowledge a must |
