Required Skills:

- css expert

- pixel-perfect styling of complex html

- resolve browser quirks for FF 3, IE 6, 7,8, Chrome, and Safari

- design html that is properly commented and ready for re-use

- semantic design (eg know to use nested lists for navigation)

- js expert

- ajax proficient

- working knowledge of Javascript libraries such as Dojo and/or jQuery

- ability to code for browser quirks

- comfortable writing unobtrusive javascript

- can create prototypes based on wireframes and/or photoshop comps

- can write and execute unit tests on own code

- familiarity with JSP

 

Should also be familiar with:

- cvs

- accessibility

- w3c

- internationalization

- ssh

- unix shell

- apache
