Location – New York
Duration – 6+ months

Responsibilities: 

•     You will be part of the fast-paced, entrepreneurial team, as a part of App Experience Global Acquisition Platform organization

•     Serve as a member of an agile team that drives user story analysis and elaboration, design and development of test automation scripts employing Java, JUnit, Selenium, and Behavior Driven Development

•     Drive the design and development of Test Automation Framework and Common Logging Framework serving the Acquisition applications

•     Develop test plan, testing resource requirements, and overall scheduling of testing activity

•     Develop automated and manual test strategy, test cases, and test configuration needed to meet the business and system requirements

•     Maintain a positive "can-do" attitude and look for opportunities for innovation and efficiency improvement

•     Assist with system production rollout with testing and configuration validation

•     Monitor application service queue and support automation of test cases resulting from issues

•     Analyze the highly complex software system and design an automated test strategy to drive 90%+ test automation

•     Design, monitor, and analyze quality assurance metrics such as defect counts, test results, test status, and resolution of defects

 Qualifications:

•     5+ years of experience in a testing/quality assurance discipline with proven ability in developing strategy, test plan, test automation of business and system requirements, defect management, and release management employing Java, JUnit, Selenium, and Behavior Driven Development (BDD) in a Java/J2EE Micro Services based enterprise application environment

•     Experience developing Test Automation, Logging Framework and other Java based frameworks.

•     Experience with Agile software development and tools such as Rally and JIRA

•     Demonstrate ability to acquire new technologies in a fast-paced environment.

•     Proactively look for continuous improvement opportunities in process and technology.

•     Ability to think abstractly and analyze ambiguous/partially defined problems to drive solutions.

•     Ability to effectively interpret technical and business objectives and challenges, and articulate solutions.

•     Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to effectively communicate across third parties, engineers, technical and business product owners.
