Role: UI Engineers
Location: San Ramon, CA
Duration: 9+ Months
Rate: $/hr on C2C All Incl.
Interview Process Phone and in-person screen.
UI Engineers:
· Background required–Folks who have built interactive UI with data driven and not just informative data display.
· Will accept for some teams – Exceptionally strong candidates with 8 + years working as an individual contributor coming from IT background provided they satisfy the
below grid.
· Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering from an accredited institute.
· Must be willing to work out of an office located in the East Bay Area in Northern California.
· Multiple positions and multiple groups looking for Pure UI (Performance Management and and few with UI developers who have the Java background (Platform ,Performance
Management, Asset management, Water, analytic Cloud group, Transportation & Healthcare)
Required:
· At least 7 years of proven track of designing and developing at least 2 large scale web 2.0 application.
· Proficient with creating complex HTML 5 templates.
· Proficient with Object oriented Java script coding and debugging skills with demonstrable experience using multiple JS libraries.
· Experience with UI framework design.
· Working Knowledge with JavaScript —rich interactive client interfaces using Ext.js, JQuery, AJAX, JSON and DOM manipulation, Node.js.
· Proficient with CSS3 layout java script framework for DOM manipulation.(Required for Performance Management ,Asset Management group)
· Proficient integrating UI with Web Services and AJAX through Java MVC framework (eg: Play MVC framework)
· Capable of solving cross browser compliant issues (IE, Firefox, Chrome and Safari)
· Highly motivated and self-driven personality with fast learning and good problem solving skills.
· Solid understandings of scalable UI design principles/design patterns deployed in the cloud (Required for Analytic Cloud Group)
For certain groups UI with Java background is required such as below:
· Hands-on experience in utilizing Spring Framework (Core, MVC, Integration and Data) for certain groups.
· Experience in Web application framework (spring, apache, flex, struts)
· Hands-on experience in implementing ORM with JPA and Hibernate.
· Hands-on experience in implementing XML technologies (JAXB, WSDL, WADL, XML, XSD)
· Hands-on experience in implementing Java OSGi modules and using an OSGi container.
· Experience using SOAP and RESTful web services.
· Hands-on experience in using Apache Commons Suite.
Plus:
· Ability to develop new approaches to solve cloud based UI design problems supporting multi-tenants.
· Experience with Play framework a plus.
