POSITION:  Sr. JAVA DEVELOPER

LOCATION:  LANSING, MI

TERM:  1 year +

INTERVIEW TYPE:  PHONE – 2 INTERVIEWS REQUIRED

We are seeking candidates with the following skills: 

 

Required:

·         Solid Java and J2EE development skills with 8+ years J2EE experience.

·         Solid 8+ years hands-on experience with Web and Enterprise JavaBeans (EJB) container models.

·         Solid  4+ years experience in SQL and Oracle.

·         Understanding of MVC frameworks like Struts.

·         Solid understanding of the java collections framework.

·         Hands-on experience with multiple J2EE persistence strategies (DAO, OR-mapping, JDBC, transaction demarcation).

·         Hands-on experience with Concurrency Management, Messaging and transaction demarcation.

·         Object-oriented and service-oriented design concepts, including knowledge of data transfer objects and associated design patterns.

·         Knowledge of UML.

·         Excellent communication skills with the ability to solicit and formalize requirements and work with end users/customers.

·         Ability to work in a semi-structured environment where requirements and priorities are dynamic.

·         Recent experience with Oracle Weblogic 9.x and greater.

·         Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or a related field.

 

Highly Desirable:

·         Experience with agile development methodology

·         Experience with Test Driven Design (TDD) methodology

·         Java Server Faces (JSF) technology knowledge and experience.
