Job Title: ATG Architect
Location: Manhattan NY, Arlington VA and Woonsocket RI
Duration: 6+months
Job Description :
We are seeking highly effective eCommerce Architects with extensive experience in the ATG platform to support multiple engagements for our Global Solutions client.
These opportunities will see you provide technical leadership with responsibility for guiding the design, user interface, and technology integration of projects to optimize clients use of their online commerce products and self service applications.
The role will also see you and interfacing with client technology and management teams to translate their business requirements into solution designs.
Core skills required include:
Demonstrated expert proficiency in the ATG e-commerce platform and tools
Minimum of 6 years experience in enterprise architecture, systems integration, package implementation, and /or interactive design and e-commerce architecture experience 7 to 10 years in Information Technology Experience in all phases of the software development life-cycle Experience with implementation of large systems that utilize J2EE technologies,particularly e-Commerce
Applied knowledge of designing n-Tier OO system architectures using EJB technologies
Applied experience with OOD and UML
Applied knowledge of Design Patterns Experience developing in J2EE framework : EJB, JSP, Servlet, JMS, JNDI, JDBC, JMX, RMI Knowledge of and/or experience with Web Services Standards (SOAP, XML, WSDL, UDDI) a plus Experience with standard internet protocols such as HTTP, HTTPS, POP, FTP, SMTP Applied knowledge of user interface (HTML, Javascript,JSP) design
Applied experience with RDBMS design, development
Applied knowledge of back-end connectivity to database systems Must be able to spearhead the design from business use-cases through design model
Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or related field
Ability to define, create, and complete a technical task without guidance
Highly effective communication skills with client-facing and executive level management
Demonstrated leadership, teamwork and collaboration in professional setting
Ability to mentor and provide guidance to other technical staff
Prior Consulting experience
