BACK FILL Java Developer

Need experience with EJB or web containers.

 

Our client is seeking a highly motivated, self-directed Java Developer for a 6 month contract role in Austin.

 

Responsibilities:

•          Work with cross functional team to clarify and approve requirements

•          Produce functional specifications based upon requirements

•          Design, develop and implement Java applications

•          Define and implement regression test suites

 

Required Experience / Skills:

•          3-5 years of experience in Java development

•          Working experience with JDK, EJB, XML, SOA

•          Experience with two or more Webservers (Tomcat, WebLogic, WebSphere or JBoss)

•          Experience with RDBMS (Oracle and DB2 preferred)

•          Experience with OOD and OOP

•          Excellent written and verbal communication skills

•          Bachelor's Degree

 

Desired Experience / Skills:

•          Retail experience (360Commerce, ORPOS, BackOffice or CentralOffice)

•          Master's Degree
