Job Title: Informatica Architect

Skill and Role Summary:
The project is migrating the DevCon billing system (legacy) to the MMB billing system (current). The current contractor team (which is leaving at the end of January) has created a tool called the IFS Existing Business Tool that has been used to migrate mappings from Admin/CARMS (legacy) to MMB (current) and Broadview (legacy) to MMB (current). The goal of this project is to enhance the existing tool to also handle the migration of DevCon to MMB. My understanding is there is little to no documentation for the IFS Existing Business Tool (requirements, design, test cases, run book, etc.). I would expect that creating this type of documentation would be a part of this engagement.
Main duties and responsibilities:

Client is looking for a senior Informatica architect/programmer to develop mappings for a billing conversion. . This person will be leading/mentoring a team consisting of two client employees who have no previous Informatica experience. This person will be responsible for leading/mentoring the team, architecting the solution and assisting the team in the development and testing of the required mappings. The client team has a deep understanding of the business problem and what needs to be done from a requirements perspective. . Lastly, the senior Informatica person would be responsible for transitioning the final system to the 2 client resources for them to support moving forward…
Requirements:
· The candidate will need the following:
o Deep understanding of Informatica both from an architecture and programming perspective
o Great communication skills to mentor/train the client team
o The ability to represent Client appropriately at a client site in an client office where there will be little no Client leadership…
o The ability to transition the final solution to the client team and ensure success of the project…
