Position: .Net Application Software Analyst II

Location: Milwaukee WI

Duration: 6+ Months

 

Job Description:

·         you will write, test and debug new software applications and enhancements to existing software applications using object oriented programming languages especially .NET.

·         You will lead, instruct, and review the work of other analysts and developers. 

·         You will also interact with all technical staff, clients and vendors to ensure our e-commerce solutions for the travel industry are the best available in the competitive, fast-paced online marketplace.

·         Formulates and defines system scope and objectives based on user  needs. 

·         Prepares detailed specifications from which programs will be written.

·         Analyzes and revises existing system logic.

·         Reviews work of analysts and developers for quality assurance.

·         Acts as project leader for projects with small budgets or limited duration.

·         Serves as a mentor for others on the team.

 

Required Skills:

·         Bachelor's degree Computer Science, MIS or related field

·         Minimum 5 years' experience using VB, C#, XML processing

·         Knowledge in database schema designs, and in building queries and tables

·         Knowledge in relational database and SQL programming language

·         Knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet and database software applications

·         Knowledge of software development lifecycle processes with emphasis on software testing procedures

·         Skilled in writing, analyzing, correcting, and documenting computer program code

·         Ability to examine documents for completeness and compliance with established policies

·         Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with all levels of employees, members, and vendors

·         Ability to organize tasks and work independently

·         Must be able to communicate effectively with outside resources and all levels of internal resources in both written and oral format

·         Must have a proficient working knowledge of problem solving and investigation techniques

·         Ability to analyze situations and data and recommend solutions
