Job Title:Java Back-End Developer
Location: San Jose, CA
Duration: 6+ Months

Experience :12+ years

Immediate need for a Java developer with experience in corporate and B2C systems.
Developer will also be responsible for sustaining and enhancing the current corporate website, and developing new mobile applications.
This position requires a well-rounded software engineer with strong back- and front-end experience.
This position will lead by example by exercising unyielding integrity, a positive and collaborative attitude, high energy and sense of urgency, and passion.
 
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with business partners and project managers to identify application features and functionality.
Develop server side components using Java
Write design documentation.
Participate in code and design reviews.
Collaborate with QE to ensure system quality.
Define and promote SDLC best practices.

Desired Skills and Experience
10+ years Java experience developing and maintaining website.
Experience developing RESTful web services using Spring Framework.
Excellent knowledge of core Java, Java EE, Servlets, JSP, Hibernate, iBatis, Spring, and Struts.
Deep working knowledge of HTML5, Javascript, CSS3, jQuery, Ajax.
Deep understanding of object oriented architectures.
Experience with Oracle and MySQL relational databases.
Solid understanding of software architecture in the context of web applications.
Solid understand of QE activities including functional and performance testing.
Experience with responsive mobile development.
Experience with web services and API programming.
Deep understanding of object oriented architectures.
Experience working in a Scrum development environment.
Excellent customer service, written, oral, and interpersonal skills are mandatory.
Self-motivated and works well in a team environment.
Work hours will include after business hours, weekends, and holidays.
Bachelor's degree (Master's preferred) in Computer Science, and / or relevant field; plus 5 – 8 years in web architecture and at least one year in mobile application development.
