Duration:            9 to 12 months

 

Mandatory Skills:

 

•    Performance Analysis of CICS Jobs, Mainframe apps

•    MVS navigation using TSO, ISPF, PDSE, JES

•    Hardware: IBM z9, z10 Mainframe Processors, Parallel Sysplex, IBM DASD, VTS/TAPE, FICON Channels

•    Batch processing JCL, CICS, IMS DB, DB2, MQ, EXCI,  (Control-M scheduler)

•    On-line processing with CICS, IMS Transaction processor, DB2, MQ

 

Job Description:

 

•    Member of Performance Engineering team responsible for performance monitoring and analysis of Mainframe apps/jobs

•    Proactive z/OS Mainframe Performance Analysis for multiple LPARS

•    Performance monitoring using Tritune, MATUNER, Strobe, DB2-Aptune, RMF, Main view, MXG/SAS  

•    System tuning using Workload Manager (WLM)

•    Able to understand system/project changes release wise and develop performance test strategy/plan

•    Communicate the strategy, plan, test cases to the stakeholders and secure sign-off

•    Execute performance tests, conduct performance analysis and produce report
