Job Description:-
- 8+ years Oracle Applications Release 11i and release 12 DBA experience
- 5+ years of Dataguard, ASM, RAC, Apache, Discover, JAVA, Forms
- Maintain multiple instances of E-Business Suite (Test, Dev, Prod)
- Extensive work with concurrent managers including scheduled jobs, monitoring, tuning, and troubleshooting
- Demonstrate good understanding of R12 architecture and the various application tier and database tier components
- Manage and troubleshoot E-Business Suite security and performance
- System Administration
- Assist in the development of policies for data management pertaining to security, auditability, and privacy, and ensure these policies are complied with
- Assist with User/Role/Responsibility Administration
- Perform application tuning and cleanup (purge)
- Experience with RAC, Standby database, Dataguard and E-Business failover/recovery and RMAN
- Knowledge and experience with load balancing * Forms, Reports, JServ, RDBMS
- Expert providing cloning, patching, system refreshes, maintenance and use of AD utilities
- 5+ years in Oracle Single Sign-On (SSO), Oracle Access Manager (OAM), Oracle Identity manager (OIM)
- Outstanding experience maintaining, enhancing and tuning programs, form, reports, JAVA, interfaces and Oracle APIs'
- Expert SQL and PL/SQL and strong ability to tune those statements
- Workflow Design and development experience
- Self-motivation and interest in continual learning
- Deploying concurrent processes and custom development
- Develop technical design and documentation of Oracle applications, interfaces, custom reporting, and custom applications including use of documented revision control
- Documents, writes and maintains specs
- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting and communication skills are a must
- OAF, tuning JAVA, Forms, Reports, SQL and Pl/SQL, and managing Workflow
- A minimum of 7 to ten years of progressive technical/functional experience in management of Financials and Manufacturing.
- Extensive experience with Oracle Unified Method (previous Oracle AIM)
- Good understanding of SOA, BPEL, ITIL, SQL and PL/SQL, SQL * Loader
- Experience in Oracle developer, BI, XML Publisher and JDeveloper is a plus
- Develop, implement, and maintain processes and procedures for database administration on production and non-production servers
- Manage backup and recovery of production databases
- Assist data users and applications development teams in planning efforts by advising them of data conventions and definitions
- Assist in the development of policies for data management pertaining to security, auditability, and privacy, and ensure these policies are complied with
- Oracle Database certification 10g or 11g
- Certification in one or more of the modules associated with financial family or Manufacturing family a plus
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS or equivalent life learning experience.
- 3 years of life learning experience equals one year college
