Position : Scrum Master

Location : Richfield, MN

Duration : 6 Months

 

Overview:  We are looking for a strong scrum master to guide a group of 30 to build product backlog, plan releases, and estimate stories.  A true scrum master- Managing all issues successfully whether it’s changing requirements, release, or planning demos. 

Essential Duties:

·         Guiding the organization on how to use Agile/Scrum practices and get the most out of self-organization to fill gaps left in Agile/Scrum frameworks.

·         Supporting and educating the Product Owner, especially with respect to grooming and maintaining the product backlog.

·         Assessing the Scrum Maturity of the team and organization and coaching the team to higher levels of maturity, at a pace that is sustainable and comfortable for the team and organization

·         Will facilitate estimating stories; build product backlog, plan releases, and tying releases to roadmap. 

·         Track goals on a daily basis to make sprints successful and report risk, issues, challenges, achievements, success, failure to higher management. 

·         Facilitate discussion, decision making, and conflict resolution and assist with internal and external communication by improving transparency across teams

Ability to hold team members accountable, set clear performance standards, resolve performance issues, keep team engaged and on task

Responsible for guiding the team to remove impediments by building a trusting and safe environment to discuss and resolve any conflicts.

Must Have Skills:

·         Should have 2 years of Agile experience

·         Experience playing the scrum master role

·         Jira

·         Technical Knowledge

 

*PLUS not preferred- Scrum certified
