Title: UNIX Administrator
Contract Duration: 6+ months
Location: Boston, Massachusetts (Face to face Interview required after telephonic)
Minimum Requirements:
- Position requires 5-7 years' hands-on experience as a Unix Administrator.
- Candidate will have experience administering SUN Enterprise class servers in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
- The candidate should have experience in clustering technologies including Veritas and SUN Cluster Server.Experience in financial services a definite positive and preferred
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills are required.
- The candidate should have a strong understanding of TCP/IP networking and host configurations
The UNIX System Administrator will be comfortable managing multiple priorities and day-to-day activities. Will have strong knowledge of UNIX (Solaris) and, to lesser extent, Linux operating systems. Will perform installations, upgrades, and patch updates. Strong interpersonal skills and good written and verbal communication skills are required. Ability to adapt to changing priorities, meet deadlines and work well under pressure.
