Job Responsibilities

Overview:

We are looking for an ASP.Net programmer with experience converting applications from ASP.Net 1.1 to ASP.Net 4.0 and resolving the conflicts that occur when updating these code bases. Our code consists of ASP.Net Web applications and Windows Forms applications written in ASP.Net 1.1 Visual Basic.

Required Skills:

•Visual Studio (4 + years of Visual Studio experience including VS2010)

•ASP.Net 1.1 (2+ years)

•ASP.Net 2.0 (2+ years)

•ASP.Net 4.0 (2 + years)

•SQL server 2000 (2  + years)

•SQL Server 2005 (2 + years)

•SQL Server 2008 R2 ( 2  + years)

•VB.Net ( 4 + years)

•C#.Net (4 + years)

•Java (2 + years)

•HTML (4 + years)

•XML (4 + years)

•Experience in working on n-tier application development with some form of source control either Source Safe or Team Foundation Server (4 + years)

•Experience documenting application design and functionality (4 + years)

•Experience with full software development life cycle, including creation of test cases (4 + years)

•Experience with mentoring junior developers (4 + years)

•Experience with peer  and code reviews, developing and following coding standards (4 + years)
