Role: Lead Front End Software Engineer - AngularJS
Location : Woodbury NY
Duration : 12+ Months
Interview : Telephonic + Skype
•Experience with high volume, high traffic, and consumer-facing websites.
•7-10+ years as a Software Engineer (strong preference for someone who came up the ranks as a Server-side Programmer and has now shifted to the front-end)
•Experience with Responsive Web Design (RWD) techniques
•Expert HTML5, JavaScript and CSS skills
•Extensive experience in AngularJS and/or other JavaScript frameworks (i.e.: Backbone.js)
•Experience with Grunt / LESS
Knowledge and experience in Open Source technologies i.e.: Varnish, NGINX
Required Skills:

•Deep experience designing modular, object-oriented JavaScript.
•Significant development experience in Java
•User Interface design knowledge
•Knowledge and experience in Open Source technologies i.e.: Varnish, NGINX
•Working experience with unit-testing or TDD using various frameworks
•Experience with Agile methodologies
•Experience with performance optimization and complex debugging in JavaScript
•Experience with Server-side web frameworks such as JSP, PHP, or Python
•Experience with issue-tracking systems (especially JIRA) a plus
Experience working with Maven framework and Subversion a plus
