SAP PM/SM Techno Functional Developer
Summary: The SAP PM/SM Developer is responsible for the development support of
SAP PM/SM modules. Applicants are typically IT Professionals with experience in SAP ECC 6.0 system configuration and ABAP/4 development skills. The selected person is expected to have strong working knowledge of SAP Plant Maintenance, and Service Management business functionality.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
- Provide applications development and enhancement functions, including analysis, design, coding, testing, and object transports using SAP's ABAP/4 Development Workbench.
- Work with SAP functional analysts and Operations business analysts to formalize specifications for custom development. With limited supervision, design and implement technical solutions for conversions, interfaces, enhancements, reports, forms and workflows using BDCs, call transactions, user exits, bolt-ons, standard data transfer, dialog programming, SAPScript, etc.
- Develop custom solutions using customized transactions and user exits to provide additional functionality not available within standard SAP.
- Develop and support ABAP/4 Batch Job Scheduling.
- Document and perform unit, string, integration, and regression testing
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in business, computer science or related education/experience

· Strong analytical abilities, communication and interpersonal skills
· Strong time management skills, ability to multi-task and work in a team environment.

- Self starter with leadership qualities who can work independently and in teams on tasks and projects with limited supervision.
- Ability to provide quality business solutions within compressed timelines and delivery dates.
- Able to work independently and communicate risks, potential problems and appropriate resolutions to supervisor
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to sit for extended periods of time and view computer terminal.
Working Conditions
- Normal Office Environment.
- Some overtime may be required to meet specified deadlines.
- Work schedule will start as early as8:00 AM.
Experience:
- 5 + years of experience with SAP Development tools and the ABAP workbench.
- SAP ECC 6.0 and EHP 6 experience preferable
- Strong working knowledge of core PM/SM business processes.
- SAP PM/SM business process testing experience in the following areas: Plant Maintenance, Maintenance planning and processing, service management, business workflow.
- Strong working knowledge of SAP PM/SM master data with the ability to analyze the impact of configuration or process changes across other SAP modules
- In depth knowledge of SAP's ABAP/4 programming language, workflow, BAPIs, BADIs, IDOC, ALE, and SAP Scripts, Web Dynpro, MS Excel, MS Access, MS Visio, MS Power Point
