Job Title: Sitecore Developer
Location: Northfield, IL
Duration: 4-6 Months Contract
Job Responsibilities:
Candidates will need to have worked with end-to-end Sitecore implementations.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Must be self-motivated, attention to detail, a good communicator, thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive "can do" attitude. This position requires the ability to manage tight deadlines, quick turnarounds and multitasking between various tasks. Also, a certain degree of creativity is required.
5+ years of experience developing Microsoft solutions utilizing .NET framework with technologies such as ASP.NET, C#, LINQ, HTML, CSS and JavaScript/JQuery, Json, XML, Transact-SQL.
3+ years of Sitecore development and 5+ large scale Sitecore installations – including custom development versus out-of the-box configuration – Sitecore 6x and Sitecore 7x (Experience with other WCM/ECM products such as Ektron, Kentico, Umbraco, SharePoint, etc. is a plus)
Sitecore farm sizing, installation, configuration, deployment
Experience implementing Sitecore DMS and campaign automation
Experience with SQL Server, TFS, SVN, Sitecore TDS, and any Visual Studio extensions for use with Sitecore development (Performance debugging experience with tools such as WinDbg, Ant Profiler is a plus)
Experience with Lucene or SOLR for Sitecore
Experience with 3rd party integrations to Sitecore through pipelines, scheduled tasks, data providers etc.
Experience with SOA architecture, REST, SOAP, WCF
Familiarity with OOD and design patterns – IoC, DI, MVC, MVVM, MVP
Familiarity with Azure, AWS, and industry CDN's
Experience with Sitecore performance tuning, debugging, caching strategies
Employ Sitecore best practices
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
