Role: Hyperion Admin
Location: Kansas City, MO
Duration: 6+ Month contract with possible extensions

MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE WITH LINUX AND WINDOWS OPERATING SYSTEMS!
This request is for an advanced Hyperion support administrator. The admin will be responsible to scope, estimate, design, document, develop, and test technical solutions required to satisfy the reporting needs of the business. Administrative tasks will involve building installing, troubleshooting, and maintaining system availability. This individual will also be responsible for supporting environments and maintaining. They will be expected to work closely with the development teams to ensure the system's performance and availability.
Required:
o 5 years of IT work experience with 5-8 years Oracle Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) Interactive Reporting or Hyperion.
· 5-8 years experience with Oracle EPM and 11.1.2, Hyperion and Essbase. Includes an in depth understanding of internet architecture: web servers, application servers, software configuration and troubleshooting.
· Excellent problem solving and debugging skills with experience in troubleshooting complex issues for EPM 11.1.2 environments
· Strong analytical skills and ability to think in a complex and rapidly changing environment.
· Use and enforce best practice and controls in areas of methodology, architecture, security, change and configuration management and compliance.
· Experience w/ installation/upgrades , configuration, tuning, monitoring, and administration of EPM suite (Planning, Essbase, IR, FR,Smartview, LCM) in a Linux environment
· Work closely with user community team to identify system problems and provide solutions to minimize system outages.
· Strong scripting skills with an administration language, shell, bash, perl, phython
· Experience in production and development support and which includes knowledge in installing and configuring Application server and Web server domains: WebSphere & WebLogic, deploying and scheduling jobs, troubleshooting issues and setting up security.
o Experience supporting a 24/7 production environment.
o Excellent communications skills both verbal and written.
o Exceptional problem solving skills with strong technical background.
o Willingness to learn other tools and technologies as needed.
Desired:
o Understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and ability to follow the process and provide the appropriate documentation when needed.
o Ability to work in a high volume, fast-paced environment.
o Development experience or administration with OBIEE 11g is highly desired.
o PL/SQL scripting is a plus.
o Financial Industry experience is a plus.
o BA Degree in Accounting, Finance, or MIS
