Position :- Mobile Software Engineer

Location :- Washington DC

Duration :- 12+ Month

 

Technical Skill :-

 

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field

5+ years of experience developing commercial software

2+ years of hands on experience developing mobile applications for iOS or Android

Experience with web programming technologies such as PHP, Java and Microsoft .Net

Strong analytical and research skills

Ability to handle multiple concurrent projects

Ability to synthesize data and present findings and recommendations

Solid written and verbal communication skills

 

Job Duties :-

 

Identify and discover upcoming technologies and trends in the areas of mobile identity,

peer-to-peer wireless communications, geo-location and possibly other areas

Develop and prototype applications that put to use the technologies under research and

enhance MicroStrategy's understanding of their capabilities in real life scenarios.

Developing these prototypes may involve the creation of mobile and server software

Understand in detail the underlying principles of these technologies and determine their

applicability to MicroStrategy's offerings

Assess the quality and shortcomings of the technologies in question

Determine the ease of integration and use of the APIs and SDKs that enable such

technologies

Work closely with technology vendors to perform many of the responsibilities listed

above

Report and document findings for future reference
