Keys to the Position:
Strong and significant experience with - SCCM – Application, Software Update, and OS Deployments
Application Packaging experience using either Flexera AdminStudio/InstallShield or Wise Package Studio (WiseScript experience a plus). We are currently using Flexera
Office 2010 and Win 7 are required.
Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Experience architecting a large Windows desktop/laptop/Citrix/Active Directory environment (roaming profiles, etc)
Experience project managing, deploying and supporting large scale desktop O/S migrations and introducing new technology based on business needs and industry standards
Solid foundation designing and implementing distributions with Wise, Active Directory and SCCM for the full lifecycle with diagrams, workflow Visio's, support documentation and training, presentations, etc.
Ability to work independently without intensive oversight – must be a go-getter and take initiative on a regular basis finding ways to avoid problems proactively rather than just fixing them after the fact)
Ability to collaborate, share the workload and provide direction to an off-shore packaging team.
Initiative and ability to research problems independently, finding root cause
Emphasis on sharing of knowledge through good communications, peer training and written documentation
Experience in working with global teams
Strong inter-personal skills
Positive customer service and team attitude (helping others when required)
Focused on quality Organized Committed to continual improvement Technical Proficiencies
Microsoft desktop technologies
Discipline to adhere to formal system lifecycle methodology
Strong Background in the following areas:
2008 Server Win7 Desktop (32 and 64 bit) plus IE9-IE11Office 2010
VBScript, PowerShell and Batch scripting.
Application Packaging, using Flexera AdminStudio/InstallShield or Wise Package Studio (WiseScript experience a plus)

Designing and implementing Group Policy settings
Desktop Image creation experience with Ghost, MDT, or similar technologies
Knowledge of SQL a plus (in relation to SMS & Citrix databases)

Job Summary
This role will be part of the desktop engineering team responsible to architect, design, and implement solutions for client technologies. This includes formally designing and project managing large migrations and new technology efforts in addition to being a senior technical resource, providing day to day packaging and 3rd level support. We are a global firm and our solutions must address domestic and global needs.
The client technologies include Microsoft desktops/laptops/Citrix servers/peripheral devices/software, PDA's, etc. The team also engineers tools and software for client technologies such as anti-virus, Microsoft Office, Visio, support tools and procedures, software packaging, and software distribution. You must have strong hands on experience designing the Windows and Citrix operating systems to host a variety of domestic and global applications with optimum performance. You will need to package/script and use automation to manage a large number of PC Clients and Citrix servers. Strong knowledge of SMS/SCCM is desired. Strong accountability, analytical, organizational and communication skills are a must. Minimum of 7 years in desktop engineering experience with at least 3 years focused on desktop packaging.
