Position: ETL Informatica Developer
Location: New York City
Contract: 3-6 Months
Interview Process: Phone screen + Face to Face
Must be local to NYC



Detail Job Description
• Build and support ETL mapping/workflows using Informatica tool.
• Define transformation rules for source to target mappings and
develop the software
components to support the transformation
• Interact with Business Intelligence Lead, other staff, and other
program technical staff as needed to ensure proposed development
strategy and implementation meets programs objectives
• Ensure all software developed for migration of production data is
developed, controlled, and tested to the same quality level as
production software
• Facilitate the production release of new functionality and provide
support of production issues.



Requirements and General Skills:
• Extensive experience with Informatica ETL development and
application troubleshooting, workload management, performance tuning.
Experience working with high volume transactions is desired.
• Experience with Vertica and Teradata environments and its tool set
is desirable
• Experience developing and implementing best practices in ETL
specifics to process control, exception management in an EDW
environment.
• Experience working with Web Logs is a plus
• Good interpersonal skills, with ability to work across functional
lines, and at many levels.
• Ability to work on assigned tasks independently and execute with
minimal direction.
• Must be able to work on multiple projects simultaneously, meet
project deadlines, and work under tight timelines.

ETL Tools: Informatica Power Center (8.x and higher), Teradata Load Utilities
Database: Vertica, Teradata
Languages : Teradata SQL, Teradata Stored Procedures, Transact SQL
O S: Windows, UNIX, Linux
