Title: .Net Developer
Location: Alpharetta, GA
Project duration: 12+ months
Must Have Skills:
5+ years of professional experience in .NET and object-oriented application development.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills and should be able to manage tech meetings, design sessions etc.
Hands on experience with Visual Studio 2010 or Visual Studio 2012, using Subversion and/or Team Foundation Server
Real-time application experience using .NET Framework 3.5 or higher, C#, Windows Communication Foundation (WCF), ASP.NET MVC 3 or 4, LINQ or Entity Framework
Experience with relational databases (Oracle, Sybase) and Microsoft SQL Server 2008 or higher.
Experience in building web-based applications and services using web tools and technologies including HTML, Ajax, CSS, JavaScript, etc.
Ability to quickly learn and develop expertise with highly complex applications and architectures.
Self-starter with strong problem solving skills.
Ability to contribute to multiple projects/demands simultaneously and adapt to changing priorities.
Object Oriented Design / Development
Strong understanding of Design Patterns
Desired Skills:
Prior experience in a real-time transaction processing (preferably financial brokerage/banking and/or ecommerce) industry is highly desirable
Experience with transaction processing in the financial industry (brokerage, banking, and/or e-commerce related) is highly desirable
Responsibilities:
Support and enhance our existing base of C# .NET code, including WCF services, ASP.NET web pages
Maintain a strong commitment to the team to help drive and deliver projects and tasks
Work with the team to conceive, develop, deploy, and maintain solutions to meet business and technical requirements
Help drive productivity, quality, and economic metrics to meet the team and department goals
Deliver projects and tasks on schedule with good quality and accurately report status to management
