Job Description:
- Responsible for all ongoing configuration, tailoring, troubleshooting and deployment of VMware's IT Business Management (ITBM) product to support DTCC-specific ITBM solution requirements.
- Responsible for analysis and break down customer business and/or functional ITBM requirements into a set of technical specifications, as well as implementation per a release schedule.
- Installing, configuring, and integrating ITBM with different data sources and connected applications.
- Technical support for the monthly chargeback cycle in ITBM, including loading of source data into the tool and running the cost model.
- Manage documentation and change history of DTCC-specific ITBM configuration.
Desired Skills and Experience:
- Minimum 1-2 years of previous experience in IT cost modeling, with a ITFM/ITBM-type tool (VMWare ITBM, Apptio, BMC IT Business Management Suite, Cloud Cruiser, ComSci ITFM, HP IT Exec Scorecard, Nicus M-PWR, etc.
- 3+ years of experience in deployment of one or more of the following: ETL or BI tools such as Informatica, Cognos, Business Objects, Microstrategy; or financial modules of business applications such as Siebel, Salesforce.com, Oracle applications, SAP etc.
Additional Skills:
- Expert level knowledge of Oracle SQL
- Exposure to Data Modeling, Data Architecture, OLTP and OLAP concepts
- Excellent customer facing and analytical skills
- General understanding of networking issues, systems administration, and database administration
