Skills: Cognos BI DW Data Warehouse ETL Reports Meta data Framework  

 

Immediate contract opportunity for a skilled cognos developer with strong oracle background.

 

Required Skills: -

• Strong experience with Cognos 8 (Framework Manager, PowerPlay / Analysis Studio) –

• Strong oracle development skills (PL/SQL, SQL, mviews, partitioning, indexing, etc.) –

• Strong report, cube, model tuning/optimization skills. –

• Some SDK experience desirable

• This is an advance level position and involves implementing complex report designs (layouts and prompting) and use of Cognos prompt API (JavaScript) within Report Studio.

• Must have prior experience with developing and optimizing Transformer cubes and Framework models. Experience with Dynamic Cubes, Dy
 

• Must have prior experience with developing and optimizing Transformer cubes and Framework models. Experience with Dynamic Cubes, Dynamic query and DMR is highly preferred.

• Must be able to work directly with SQL tools and Oracle RDBMS. Possess sound understanding of data warehouse design and architectures for high performance BI reporting
