APPLICATION TESTER

12+ months contract

Rate: $60/hr C2C – this is already the best

 

Background
The project is replacing an End of Life application that does Equipment Design for our plants and refineries around the globe. The tester will be an integrated part of one of our development teams, and will work with the team to deliver an extremely high quality application. Primary responsibilities will be deep functional testing, automated testing in our "home grown" framework, working with customers to understand issues, and working with development teams to resolve any issues.

Experience and Skills Requested (in Priority order)
• Communication skills (most important attribute)
• Functional testing experience
• Automated testing experience with different frameworks
• Experience working in an Agile environment
• Experience testing .NET applications
• Familiar with Microsoft Team Foundation Server (TFS) and associated processes

Nice To Have Experience and Skills:
• .NET development skills
• Graphic design of simple icons and drawings (Visio, Photoshop)
