Duties & Responsibilites :	It is mandatory for all the vendors to provide the details below while sharing the resume Consultant Name Current Location: Phone: Email: Work Authorization : Rate: Relocation: LOCAL candidates only - The composition scripting engineer is responsible for transforming customer data into pixel-perfect, print-ready documents. Utilizing skills in JavaScript, XSLT, and Adobe InDesign, this individual must be diligent in both the analysis of data and the design of highly-customized content. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in composition scripting (Quark, InDesign, etc), as well as skills in data transformation using XML and XSLT 1.0 and 2.0. - This position will have direct interaction with customers, so excellent communication skills are required. We are looking for an individual who is self-motivated, can work with high level direction, is good at application/solution design, and is a clear and concise communicator. To be successful in this position, the employee will need to demonstrate business focus, strong work ethic, high productivity, focus on quality/craftsmanship, personal initiative, accountability, strong analytical skills, strong communication skills. Required Skills: - Fluent in JavaScript (or other scripting language) - Fluent in XML/XSLT - Experience with scripting composition engines (InDesign or Quark) - Highly skilled in at Data Analysis Required Experience: - 2 years of application development experience in a Software Engineering role. - 2 years of experience in JavaScript or other scripting languages (Perl, Ruby, Python, etc). - 2 years experience in XML/XSLT. - 2 years composition scripting using Adobe InDesign or Quark. - Track record of success working directly with customers. Required Skills: Adobe Design tools, XML, Content Management/Development, Document Composition Development Skills: XML, Scripting Language, Adobe InDesign or other design tools.
