Location :- Albany NY

Daily Tasks include but not limited to the following:

Maintain and enhance the existing applications:

1. Manage large multi-terabyte evidenced based Medicaid clinical data warehouse/databases and over 6000+ user roles and security for Protected Health Information (PHI) data access.

2. Develop, implement and manage Drug Utilization Review (DUR) algorithms for client data. These algorithms include drug trial calculations, data aggregations, Medicaid settings analysis and display, and data trending.

3. Write complex queries on PHI data using Oracle PL/SQL and partitions.

4. Implement Fine Grained Access Control Audit (FGAC) and Virtual Private Database (VPD) for database environment and Oracle LDAP directory.

5. Review audit and error logs to fine tune application queries and storage methods with extensive use of partitions for tuning.

6. Create/run/manage ad-hoc audit reports from database event logging with special attention to which Users accessed PHI and any unusual access.

7. Create, manage and validate schema-cutover architecture to ensure High Availability (HA) of the production database.

8. Participate in daily SCRUM meeting and support the AGILE methodology used for the system development life cycle. Monitor work progress and assist with resolving impediments.
